Megan Thee Stallion is following up her big VMAs moment with something major — though it’s not exactly clear what.
On Friday (September 13), Meg dropped a short video where she was outfitted with butterfly wings. She captioned it, “Stay tuned hotties,” followed by three butterfly emojis.
At the end of the video, the name of the upcoming project it was meant to promote was revealed: Megan: Act Two.

As of this writing, it is unclear whether Megan: Act Two is a separate album from her LP Megan, released this past June; or whether it will be a deluxe edition of that project — or perhaps something else entirely.
Butterfly imagery has been associated with the Megan project, which even had a special “butterfly edition” vinyl release.
The trailer came, as mentioned, following the Houston rapper’s gig hosting the VMAs — during which she had an issue with a snake.
Meg recreated Britney Spears’ iconic “I’m A Slave 4 U” performance look from the 2001 Video Music Awards, down to the live reptile around her shoulders. However, when the snake was moving a bit too much for the Houston native’s comfort, she was quick to call for help.
Okay. Okay! Stop the music. I’m just playing,” a visibly nervous Meg yelled. “Come get this snake. I don’t know this snake, this snake don’t know me. Oh my GOD!”
Once the handler removed her co-star, Meg laughed as she added: “I tried to hold it down for Britney.”
In addition to her hosting duties, Megan Thee Stallion was nominated for seven awards at this year’s VMAs. She ultimately took home two trophies – one for Best Trending Video for her song “Mamushi,” and one for Best Art Direction for “BOA.”

The rapper and Chicago Bull were pictured enjoying each other’s company in the Big Apple over the weekend during New York Fashion Week.
