Aston Villa Linked With £50Million Transfer For Wilfred Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi

Aston Villa football club of England will reportedly make a move for Wilfred Ndidi in the summer with new manager Steven Gerrard looking to acquire a quality holding midfielder.

Ndidi signed for Leicester City in 2017 and has been a key member of the team since then but reports by Daily Star say Aston Villa are considering making an offer in the region of £50million in the summer window for the Nigeria international.

Ndidi has two years remaining in his contract with Leicester City and would represent another good signing under Gerrard after signing Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Digne during the January transfer window.

Ndidi was an integral part of the super eagles team that crashed out in the second round of the 2021 AFCON second round in January after picking up three wins from three games in the group stage.
