Fashion Connect Africa celebrates 2-years at the FCA Garment Factory in Accra.
Anniversaries such as this presents us with an occasion to revisit and relive our years’ worth of memories – for us at FCA, it is to thank God for both the challenges and opportunities.
It hasn’t been smooth all along but we are happy that in-spite of all the topsy- turvies, we made lemonade out of lemons. We are indeed inspired by the goodness of God. He started this journey with us and has never left our side.
Integrity, trust, resilience, passion, teamwork were the fundamental core values that crafted our organizational culture from the onset.
When we first began, there were zillions of dreams, hopes, and great aspirations, today we are still dreaming, hoping and mounting up with wings as eagles. As we mark another year, we are poised to do more with you our partners, clients and stakeholders. We can only do it with your support.
Fashion Connect Africa is a proud member of the Goldcard Group, A full service business management holding company built on Faith, Passion and Excellence.
FCA – Fashion Connect Africa, has focused on a three way initiative – mainly the FCA Garment Factory, the FCA Creative Development Hub and The FCA Fashion Week.
At FCA garment factory, we make all sorts of industrial garments which include Security Uniforms, Corporate wears, Protective gears, school uniforms and so on.
The FCA Creative Development Hub, just 800 meters from here has seen to the training of 100 of creatives especially women and still counting. We have positioned the institute to focus on garment making, cosmetology and IT programs.
The FCA Fashion Week held its second outing a few Months ago and was celebrated as one of the most outstanding shows in Africa. Together with our partners, we are determined to continue in our quest to provide global platforms for creatives in the continent.
We have thrived on God’s grace and faithfulness since inception. Every opportunity and blessing we have seen are as a result of hard-work and God’s generosity towards us.
When we started the businesses, we approached a few financial institutions for support. They declined. They didn’t believe in our plans at the time. We were not deterred and have continued to navigate towards purpose.
Today, we are spurned on by continuous open heaven. We have invested in our community and have created over 500 jobs since we started.
The Lord hasn’t left our side since then. He has provided our every need according to His riches in Glory. We don’t owe anyone or a financial institution. Everything we have as a business, He provided. We remain eternally grateful to Him.
“There have undoubtedly been many pathways in my life that I have found to be just a little bit challenging, but the Lord, my brother, pastor, business partner Gabriel, His amazing wife my sister in love Ayesha who doubles up as my mentor, family, friends, clients, and my amazing team have all greatly aided me in overcoming those unexpected roadblocks” says Chief Inspiration Officer of the business Victoria Michaels.
It is now time to look forward to another adventurous and productive year filled with solid business partnerships and the breaking of new grounds. Let’s look forward enthusiastically to the years that lie ahead as we all take the time to give thanks and enjoy these amazing two years that have just passed with countless testimonies.
