Former UK health secretary, Matt Hancock, took his former advisor Gina Coladangelo off for a romantic summer holiday in Switzerland.
Their visit to the Swiss Alps is said to be their first romantic getaway after their affair came to light earlier this year, Daily Express reports.
Mr Hancock, a married father, was filmed kissing aide Gina Coladangelo, also a married mother, at the Department of Health’s London HQ in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
He resigned after the footage went viral and his wife packed up his things from their home, which he was later seen picking up as he moved out.
The trip comes just days after Switzerland was added to the UK’s green list for travel.
Mr Hancock, 42, and Ms Coladangelo, 44, are said to have travelled to the resort from the UK by car.
The Express adds that on the first night of their Alpine break they went out for dinner with friends.
On Wednesday morning, September 1, Mr Hancock was spotted in the car park and entrance road before placing bags into the boot of his vehicle. Ms Coladangelo approached the car separately and placed items in the boot.
According to reports, Ms Coladangelo’s children are being looked after by a live-in nanny at the £4.5 million South London home she used to share with husband Oliver Tress, founder of fashion and lifestyle store Oliver Bonas while they are away.
