Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be offered a seven-figure deal from Spotify to produce podcasts.
According to report, the music streaming giant Spotify has the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in its sights and are hoping to sign them up following the success of Michelle Obama’s podcast, which launched last month.
Sources told The Mirror that money was “no object” for Spotify, which is worth £22billion, and that Meghan would be able to name her price.
An unnamed insider told the publication: “The Duke and Duchess have been on their hit list for a while and a detailed proposal is set to be presented to Meghan’s US agent in a matter of weeks.”
There had been rumours that Harry and Meghan had been seeking to get a foothold in multiple business opportunities as they seek to become financially independent in North America after stepping down from their roles as senior royals.
The Sussexes have already featured in radio and podcasts and could use that experience to build a multi-million dollar empire.
