MTN Ghana Foundation’s Heroes of Change is duly back with its 6th season, weekly televising the 10 nominees that made the cut on this year’s edition.
The premier episode features the COVID-19 Relief Funds project of Prof. Kofi Bobi Barimah, the former executive director of Centre for Plant Medicine Research. As an ex-director of plant medicine in Ghana, he was highly motivated amidst the coronavirus pandemic to bring his association together and directed them to produce herbal immune boosters to aid fight the deadly COVID-19 virus.

MTN Heroes of Change was launched in July 2013 with the aim of identifying and recognizing selfless people who continue to sacrifice their time and resources to improve their communities and brighten lives. The selection of winners’ projects is done by an independent panel of judges. MTN Heroes of Change has won several awards. The project was recently adjudged 2016 IPR Best Community Relations Programme of the Year and was also awarded CSR Program of the Year 2015 by the Head of State Awards (HoSA) Scheme.
