Bulgaria’s flag carrier, Bulgaria Air, has announced that it will fly to and from different terminals at three European airports: Rome, Madrid and Prague, due to the Schengen accession of the country by air, SchengenVisaInfo reports.
The newly appointed terminals are intended for Schengen flights and provide our customers with better transport connections, thereby saving precious time by eliminating passport control.
Beginning March 31, Bulgaria Air passengers will use Terminal 1 and the Schengen reserved zone (A1-83) instead of Terminal 3 of Fiumicino Airport in Rome. This includes flight registration, baggage drop-off and connecting flights.
Travellers can get more information about the position of terminals through the updated Airport Map of Leonardo da Vinci Airport-Fiumicino, Rome.
Besides, arrivals at and departures of Bulgaria Air flights shall be transferred to Terminal 4 Barajas Airport- Madrid from the current T4S. From the same date, travellers should go to gates H, J, and K, which are aimed to service Bulgarian flights, both departures and arrivals.
Travellers can get more information about the transport between terminals through the official website of Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
The airport of Czechia’s capital, Prague, shall also change the check-in and incoming connection flights terminal given Bulgaria’s entry to Air Schengen.
From the beginning of the summer season, April 1, Vaclav Havel Airport Prague shall operate flights from and to Bulgaria at Terminal 2. There is a detailed Airport Map revealing the terminals and transports on Prague’s airport website.
