South African YouTuber and reality television personality Lasizwe Dambuza has made it onto the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.
This follows his announcement on social media that he was shortlisted on the international platform.
He wrote on Twitter: “From making videos using a phone in the streets of Pimville Soweto to making it onto #Forbes30Under30. Anything is possible. I dedicate this award to all my parents. I wish I had the opportunity to see their reactions this… Your boy is on FORBES.”

The 23-year-old comedian is one of the few young adults on the African continent to be named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for 2022.
Among other young people to make the list is Kenyan social media sensation Elsa Majimbo.
She shot to fame during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, making comic videos and appearances.
According to the chess champion, “iconic moves are an Elsa thing.”
