Bella Hadid has split from her boyfriend Marc Kalman after a two year romance, and is currently on medical leave to treat her Lyme Disease.
The supermodel, 26, and Kalman, 35, decided to go their separate ways earlier after the romance ‘ran its course’, with Hadid being on medical leave for four months to battle her condition.
A source told ET: ‘They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things. Bella is a very nice person, but struggles with the pressures of fame. She has been trying to take care of herself since their split.’
They said: ‘Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped. She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab.’
It was gathered that the pair split amicably ‘some time ago.’
An insider, close to Hadid, revealed to ET that they parted ways ahead of the summer, and she is currently ‘getting daily treatment for her Lyme disease.’
The former couple reportedly met through work in New York City, in 2020, but waited until the following summer to confirm their romance on social media.
