Award-winning DJ and reality TV star Ntombezinhle Jiyane, better known as DJ Zinhle, is exceedingly grateful to her husband, Murdah Bongz, for the family he has given her.
The couple first became Instagram official when Murdah Bongz shared a photo of Zinhle in 2020. Since then, the couple have welcomed daughter Asante and tied the knot.
In response, Zinhle wrote: “Was telling Pearl on Sunday how happy I am… so grateful for the family you’ve given me. I love you… obsessed!!!!”

While the pair are living happily ever after, their family was plunged into mourning earlier in the year with the murder of AKA. The murdered rapper is the father of Zinhle’s eldest daughter, Kairo.
In August 2022, Zinhle said she was “excited” to be Murdah Bongz’s wife in the first episode of the second season of her reality show, DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected. In the show’s first season, the Umlilo hitmaker was adamant she did not want to get married, adding there was “never anyone I wanted to marry”.
Months later, in an interview with News24, Zinhle said she was “glad” she had gotten to the point where she could “finally be comfortable with the idea of committing to someone through marriage for the rest of my life”.
“It felt like a gift that I got from God, somehow,” she said.
