Tamia Adds Additional Show to Her South African Tour.
Another performance has been added to international singer and songwriter Tamia’s South African tour, set for later this year.
The Still hitmaker will wrap up her tour on Sunday, 9 July, with a performance at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. Her tour was initially supposed to conclude a day earlier with a performance at the same venue.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the performance at the SunBet Arena on Saturday, 8 July, was sold out.
“Due to huge public outcry following our sold-out announcement on social media, we decided, if possible, to extend the tour in Gauteng,” Vertex Entertainment’s Thato Segaole said in a statement. “The venue was available, and post discussions with Tamia and her management team, her availability for an extra show was confirmed.”
“She also expressed much excitement and delight in staying slightly longer in South Africa. It’s official, the extra show is confirmed.”
Tamia will kick off her South African tour at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, on Tuesday, 4 July and perform again at the Durban ICC in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday, 7 July, before heading to Pretoria.
