American singer and TV personality, Aubrey O’Day has revealed that she lives in a constant state of fear after speaking out in support of singer Cassie following the hitmaker’s bombshell claims against rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Back in November, Cassie – real name Casandra Ventura, filed a suit in which she alleged that her ex-boyfriend controlled and abused her for over a decade, as well as blowing up the car of her former lover Kid Cudi.
Aubrey was one of the first to publicly show support for Cassie as she stated: ‘Been trynna tell y’all for years.’
In a new interview on the No Jumper podcast, Aubrey claimed that she has reason to believe she’s being ‘followed’ after noticing many ‘random cars that were parked outside my home’ over the past three months.
Speaking to host Adam22 in a candid chat, Aubrey explained that Kid Cudi confirming Cassie’s claims about his car being blown up under Diddy’s orders was a reason for her fear.
The Celebrity Apprentice star opened up about instances in recent weeks that left her feeling fearful in which she felt like she was being followed.
‘I have over 600 license plates, screen capped in my phone right now from the past three months of just random cars that were parked outside my home that didn’t look right to me,’ she said.
She added that they were always cars that she had never previously seen on her block as she continued: ‘I’ll make a quick U-turn if I need to get some groceries, and a big car busts a U-turn in a really weird spot.
‘It’s like there are things that I know to look out for because I’ve been followed before in multiple settings that I’m noticing.’
She then turned to the host and stated: ‘So let me just ask you, would you not be a bit worried, or stay at home, or keep yourself safe?’
No police investigation was carried out on Kid Cudi’s car.
When Cassie filed her lawsuit on November 16, Aubrey made it clear that she was not shocked about the fact the music mogul had been accused of rape and repeated physical abuse.
Diddy has continued to vehemently deny all of the ‘offensive and outrageous allegations.’
Aubrey took to Instagram on the day and wrote: ‘Been trynna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen @cassie.’
Her former Danity Kane bandmate Dawn Richard took to X and said: ‘Praying for Cassie and her family, for peace and healing. you are beautiful and brave.’
Aubrey was on a reality show in 2005 and was chosen to join girl group Danity Kane under Diddy’s label, Bad Boy Records. But she was kicked out in October 2008 and later alleged it was because she did not do what was expected of her ‘in other areas’ outside of talent.
